So I saw this rocking chair in the Superstore flyer a couple of weeks ago and I needed it.Actually I needed two..
I thought it made sense for an old farmhouse like ours.So I went out and bought them.In a wind storm.
I used birthday money though, so it wasn’t too crazy..But then, when I brought them home, Chris didn’t really get why this was a fundamentally awesome purchase.
He wasn’t against them.
He was just more like “OK, but what’s the big deal?for providing me with the fabrics for this room!We had a little Halloween party this past weekend at our house for Kennedy and a few of her friends.
I tried to make it fun for the kids while not completely exhausting and overwhelming myself like I always seem to do whenever I’m planning anything, no matter how small.Apparently I was successful because I was told (by the kids) that I need to definitely tone down the spookiness next year.
Much better than being told your party was lame!.One of the things I did to try to make the snack table a little more festive was to make these bottle labels and wrap them around some bottles of orange Gatorade..
